“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.” -Aristotle
Always remember this. Success is all about habits, not a couple of great days or a couple bad days.
If you are on your own financial independence journey, do not despair over single events. It will put you at risk of the greatest enemy: giving up.
If you have a bad financial day—let’s say a car breaks down, or you make a decision you come to deeply regret—be confident in your habits. Your daily financial habits will prevail over time. If you feel like your habits need to be improved, then improve them. Never look back and dwell on regret; instead be proud that you learned from your experiences and improved your habits because of it.
